Annual statutory membership fees are calculated with two percent annual increase by the general assembly.

Periodicals (dailies, weeklies, fortnightlies, monthlies, news agencies, etc): The annual membership fee of a publication is calculated on the basis of Euro 0.05 per copy of monthly circulation; and the individual membership fees of the professionals.    Minimum: Euro 1044.93
   
Example:
- A weekly with 10,000 copies (40,000 copies a month) calculates: (Euro 0.05 x 40,000 = Euro 2000).
- The weekly has 4 professionals; each of them pays Euro 129.05: (4 x 129.05 = Euro 516.20).
- The annual membership fee of the weekly is Euro 2000 + Euro 516.20 = Euro 2516.20.
- If the calculations are lower than the proposed minimum membership fee, the member pays the minimum.
   
Books, Cassettes, Discs, CD-Rom, DVD, Video, etc: Euro 0.051 per copy per edition; and the individual membership fees of the professionals.   Minimum: Euro 1044.93
   
Publishing Houses calculate on the basis of the total monthly circulation of all their publications and the individual membership fees of the professionals.    Minimum: Euro 1044.93
   
Schools, Institutes of Journalism or Communication: Euro 0.29 per person (students and professors)   Minimum: Euro 1044.93
   
Associations, Conferences, Federations, Regions, other groups: Calculations are done according to the nature of members (publications, schools, institutes, individuals, etc).    Minimum: Euro 1044.93
