1905: Foundation of International Association of Catholic Journalism and Publishing
1917: Foundation of Intrenational Bureau of Catholic Journalists
1927: Foundation of International Union of the Catholic Press, Foundation of federations
1927: Recognition by the Holy See
1928: Inspires foundation of international organisations for television, radio, cinema and audiovisuals
1930: First UCIP world congress
1950-1960: Foundation of regions, and Development Commission
1968: International Union of the Catholic Press become International Catholic Union of the Press
1969: Development Commission becomes and gives birth to Catholic Media Council (CAMECO)
1979: Creation of Union of Catholic Asian News (UCANews)
1987: International Network of Young Journalists; greater information exchange, networking, internship
1988: Summer University
